As usually happens, the team not getting any pre-season love in the NFCeast ends up winning it. What can I say, took it fair and square last week, and now earns a playoff spot.

For all the shit talking I've done, congrats Skins fans.

Man. I gotta say. I would be pretty fucking sick if I was a Cowboy fan. I understand Romo is a franchise QB and losing him is horrible. But to lose the games the way they did was just inexcusable. That would infuriate me. It's either the team wasn't as talented as everyone thought, or the coaching just isn't there. I think coaching. :noidea:

Classy move Fordman. I knew you had it in you.

All the best to you, and yours this new year.

Now Fordman, in all honesty...did you really believe that Weeden > Cousins?

Congrats to the Skins. I didn't have them finishing anywhere near the top.

I did. Coming into the year Cousins had shown nothing but more INT's than TD's. He still wasn't that good away from home, but maybe he got the confidence he needs this year because the last two road games were stellar.

Neither did 95% of skins fans. Very pleasant surprise. I Like That

Heh. I like that!

It won't mean much though (unless they win the Super Bowl) if the Skins give Cousins a fat ass contract and slink right back to the NFC East cellar in 2016. They gotta build on this or it ain't shit.

I think with Scotty calling the shots this organization is trending up. For the first time in a long time the skins look normal if that makes any sense.

Indeed. Most of us had expectations of a 6-7 win ceiling this year.

Last few weeks have been amazing to watch this team come together and to see how hard they play for each other. No quit in these guys. Feels like watching an actual professional team again.

And I like that!

Thanks @fordman84 :)

The surprising season of the Skins is directly related to the surprising emergence of Kirk Cousins. Showed flashes in previous years but certainly didnt sustain it anywhere close to this season's consistent production. If he's not a one year wonder, the team is in pretty good shape the next few years.

And he's gonna get paid, for sure.

I'd say the Giants have more to whine about.

I have always disliked the Redskins but I'm actually enjoying their resurgence, even if it means RG3 is a failed NFL quarterback.

Will definitely be rooting for them in the Wildcard round.

Heh. Yeah, it makes sense and looking normal is a wonderful thing after all these years of looking and being very abnormal.

I also agree about the organization trending up, but I gotta have more evidence than belief and thinking positively. I'm from Missouri in this instance, they gotta show me.

Oh definitely. I think the final stat line was if every Giants game had ended at the 2 minute warning, they'd be 11-5. Them and the Cowboys both just didn't get it done like they wanted to.
