It's not...I mean it's got plenty of differences.


Philip K. Dick died right when they started making it, and I'm not sure how much say, if any, he woulda had in it at that time anyway, as most thought him to be nuts.

PKD is the king of sci-fi literature, IMHumbleO....Hist book TITLES, can leave a little to be desired, but the stories themselves are awesome.

Starship Troopers is that kind of book to movie comparison.

I saw the movie when it came out, having read the book years before. I was ready to walk out in the first ten minutes but stayed, just hoping it wouldn't continue to suck.

It was like the director read the book, tore out the pages and wiped his butt with them, and then invented an entirely new story to script into crap.

Blasphemy if your talking about the original theatrical release. The original cut with the Harrison Ford 1930s detective film noire voice overs is easily one of the best Sci-Fi movies of all time.

But Ridley Scott took a hot steaming wet dump over its legacy when he released his "directors cut" version that removed the voice over.

The worst I've seen is one of the films in The Howling series. Can't remember which one, but it was dire.

3 years? While I'll admit it was boring and bizarre and.........boring... I think your dealing with recent trauma syndrome.

The new Wolverine is like freaking Godfather compared to the previous Wolverine:Origins movie which turned Deadpool into a mouthless mutant who gets beheaded at the end and shit over the storylines of about every single character put in it. Many of them had been built up for decades and they destroyed them in seconds.

Even these 5 movies released in 2013 are bigger toilet turds than Wolverine by a large margin.

But in some ways, I do feel your pain also because I will agree that over the past couple years, it's been very hard to find good movies, especially summer.
