You guys never stop following baseball.. even in the winter ❄️
I am genuinely excited about a Ranger repeat. I feel with the combination of youth and veterans the team has collected gives them a decent shot at a nice run here for several years.
I also trust CY to make the key acquisitions this offseason to improve the team.
Have to admit I was a bit skeptical of Bochy during the regular season and some of his moves, however Bochy is a much different mgr in the playoffs. He is as good as any mgr as I have seen maneuver in the playoffs.

Bochy has a great feel for the team. There were times in the regular season where we punted games and I was wondering wtf was going on, but it all worked out in the end.

Bochy understands you sometimes have to not override the horses so huh can use them later.

But there is was still some magic that happened that was beyond him. To get hot on the road and then take care of the Astros. Everything broke right and what a bottom of the 9th HR and Bombi walkoff Perfect

Gibson joins Lynn in St. Louis.

If my team had to sign Lynn amd Gibson for the rotation, I think I would just as soon be in full rebuild mode. Of course, that may be what those signings mean . Lol

Ideally, next year I would like to go into the season with the following makeup in the bullpen:

2 guys you can trust to close

2 guys you can count on to do consistently well in the 7th or 8th

2 guys who are maybe too inexperienced or a little too inconsistent to trust in late innings, but who have good enough stuff to keep the game close

2 guys who can give you 2 or 3 innings if need be, but who you wouldn't be afraid of, if they needed to go into the 7th or 8th on occasion.
I think Leclerc is in that first category and Sborz is in the second one.

Hopefully, Hernandez is in the third category. Maybe Antoine Kelly is too.

Rosenthal ranks the 4 starting pitchers rumored as possibilities to be traded this offseason.

He has Gladnow as most likely and Burnes as least likely. He said he is hearing talk that the Brewers want to hang on to their players and try to compete; that they may wait until the deadline to consider moving anyone.

Yeah I like my backups to be real good defensively especially at catcher and CF.
If Heim goes down we will need someone other than Hedges to play daily which is likely Huff

Hedges was chosen and signed because of his framing skills, more strikes usually leads to fewer runs allowed and starting pitchers going deeper into games. They can resign him all they want and I would be perfectly fine with it, plus he's an asset in the locker room...

Money would be better spent on pitching or DH imo.
