Will Wimbush step up to be a good starting QB or not? Just wondering...
Zaire is probably saying this right now "Man [Kizer].... you're kidding me... you decide to leave AFTER I transfer?"Well can't be sure of anything but the kid has skills to get the job done, hopefully he and Book can stay healthy so they don't have to burn Davis's red shirt. That is the only issue with this happening and Zaire leaving the depth at QB with a red shirt freshman back up and true freshman 3rd stringer.
2012 redux. They dumbed it down for Golson and voila, the best running game ever under Kelly.Wimbush will be fine. I think Sanford is a heck of a coach. I just hope Kelly eases Wimbush in and runs the ball a lot more than this year. I think Adams, assumes he stays healthy, is the best running back ND has had since Denson.

Yep. 2012 doesn't happen without the defensive leadership on that team. Offensively, it will come down to Kelly's comfort level with Wimbush and how much of the playbook he'll let him run. Its funny how these guys talk about certain players and then forget about it the next minute. Kelly's comments about Wimbush last summer made him sound as good as Kizer and Zaire. Kinda how at the beginning of the season, the only RB putting out was Dexter Williams, who still didn't get his share of carries. The defense will need to play much better than they have to even come close to that. If the defense isn't stopping anyone from scoring then it puts more pressure on the offense and depending on the score can force them to get away from what would make them successful. Hiring the right DC will have as big an impact on Wimbush Era as anything.
Nah he knew. That's why I thought it was weird that he left unless Kelly told MZ that wimbush passed him.Zaire is probably saying this right now "Man [Kizer].... you're kidding me... you decide to leave AFTER I transfer?"
I think Wimbush is a combo of MZ and kizer. I wish he was a little bigger . I think he add excitement to the QB position. Let's all be honest kizer took a step back this year.
Except for Morgan on D, and ESB on offense. It seems like everything took a step backward this year.
