I believe NO! Holiday, Zion and Holiday in one young team? If the Pelicans F.O. works "smart" this season, they'll be after the title at the 2021 playoffs... Bucks vs. Pelicans in the finals of 2021... what a final this would be!
LOL

He's gone. But the Pels just got a lot better deal for him tonight .
If they're smart they trade him pre-draft so they make sure they get who they want at 3 or 4.
My guess is AD to LA for the 4 and 2 of 3 of Kuzma , Ingram and Ball. A starting 4 of
Holiday
Garland
Ingram
Randle
Zion
With Kuzma as your first guy off the bench ?
Thats a good team
They'd win 35-38 games in the WC.

He's a real combo that can knock down 3s which is why I think they'd take him but Culver is really good too .Yep, looks like N.O. isnt interested in Ball.
Kuzma, Ingram, the #4 and fillers.
The Pelicans get Zion to “replace” AD and get another top 5 pick along with two young players.
This couldnt have worked out any better for the Pelicans. Wow.
Holiday
Culver
Ingram
Randle
Zion
6th man Kuz
I think Garland is more of a PG
What package could NY offer for a AD sign and trade?
Not much

I think the Pels would love to get Barrett but I just don't see what the Knicks can give for AD thats as good as Ingram and Kuzma.
#3, Knox, DSJ * insert any player/picks *
I think the Lakers young talent is BETTER.Reason I asked is if they can get reasonably close to the Lakers you gotta think the Pelicans would rather have him in the east
No, he's New York bound.
In terms of what Zion might want...NY can give NOLA the one thing that could make Zion more optimistic about playing for that franchise.
The chance to draft Barrett.
Plus, Davis would be out of the West.
I doubt LeBron is advising him to stay in N.O.90% he (AD) is staying with the Pelicans... It's what his manager will be advising him...
I doubt LeBron is advising him to stay in N.O.
This gives the Pelicans no security whatsoever though. Even with Zion and Davis the Pelicans are a stretch to make the playoffs let alone compete. In two or three years they might be great around those two but if Davis leaves next summer anyway it's just pointless.I'd say the chances went up that he could stay. I don't doubt Griffin's ability to pitch him on a vision going forward. But those odds went up from 0% to like 10%. So he's gone.
I was thinking about this, you know, with Magic leaving. Was Magic the reason the deal never happened? He basically offered the entire team, pretty unprofessional.Reason I asked is if they can get reasonably close to the Lakers you gotta think the Pelicans would rather have him in the east
