Young shouldn’t be there at all, thats a joke. He plays in a weak arse BIG with a bunch of slow white guys on the O line, lots of guys would look that good in that mess of a conference/schedule.

Burrow will and should win it going away.

The Big12 should have two there, Hurts aint even the best player in his conference (thats Hubbard) much less the country but both are worthy of a seat.

Best player regardless of position is Chase Young.
Borrow is the most valuable player this year.
Hurts put up big numbers but was a TO machine and again showed to be inaccurate unless his receivers are wide open.
Sunshine didn't get it going till it was late in the season. Maybe he was bored. Probably the best QB out of the bunch but didn't play like it early.
Fields > Lawrence>Hurts

Here's the truth about defense in the Big XII. The conference members emphasize offenses that score quickly by recruiting heavily on the O side of the ball. There is an abundance of offensive talent every season in the conference from top to bottom. The sacrifice they make is the defenses are not as talented because the recruiting numbers just aren't there and the skill on defense suffers. The conference doesn't play BAD defense, it just plays some average and occasionally good defense but no one has been playing great defense. So, the stats gets skewed in both directions. That is now changing. The Big XII will always be a high scoring conference but the days of massive firepower on the O and "who gives a shit" about the D is over. The new balance will take another couple of years to fully develop but it will make the conference champion a tougher out in the playoff.
