Who deserves CFP more? 9-0 B1G team or 11-0 G5 team?

Part of me thinks the B1G dropped the ball and should need more games but another part of me thinks 9 games is enough to get a good understanding of how good a team plays.

It happens in normal years. One team plays an 8 game conference schedule and others play 9. Or a team plays a much softer schedule than others. The committee will have to sort it out.

There isn't a team in the B10 that qualifies every week under the strictest Covid standards in college football.

At 8-0, the BIG champ should be there. That's enough to be a legitimate team fo they go undefeated. If they play less because of their stupid rules, or if their champ is 7-1, then they should be out. I'd take a 9-2 ACC team, 2 loss SEC team, 1 loss Big 12 team over them, or undefeated G5 team over them.
