I don't think this is about player safety this is more about the Big 10 schools who don't want anything messing up their bureaucratic bubbles. That's why they don't want a season since they want it to go away cause can't deal with it.

Penn St., Ohio St., Meatchicken, Nebraska & Iowa, all could play in another conference for 1 year. All have said they want to play one way or another. This might be the start of the all new 4 major power conferences. There won't be a Spring football season and then another in Fall of the same year.

Day, Harbaugh, Franklin all said they want to coach and the kids want to play - not sure their ADs and administration agree or not but that meeting started today an hour and a half ago.
