I'm thinking Stanford. MSU and Texas just don't have the talent or coaching. USC hasn't the coaching. UW should be there, but Stanford had a ton of injuries last year and a great coach. My money is on them.

They got beat by Auburn
They didn't win the West Division
They didn't win the SEC
and they didn't even make the CFP

What a fucking disaster.
Nowhere to go but up. They are going to have to make one hell-of-a-comeback

IMO from best to worst odds of "bouncing back" this year (last season's record)

1. Texas (8-5)
2. Washington (8-5)
3. Stanford (4-8)
4. USC (8-5)
5. Miami (6-7)
6. Michigan State (4-5): unproven new coach/staff, terrible recruiting class, lost senior talent and rough schedule.

I feel like whoever made that pic put the Miami Hurricanes on there for comedy relief.

Maybe Washington if they pick the correct starting QB. Or at least show me something better than what Eason did.

I picked Michigan State. It's possible that Miami could win the Coastal (with the teams in it, just about everyone has a shot) but it'll just be to see who will get smacked around by Clemson in the ACC Championship.

Stanford had a mass exodus of players.
This. Even if their recruiting class is strong they won’t have anywhere near 85 scholarship players. No experience and no depth.

I know what you mean, it was a rough year by their standards, but Alabama went 11-2. The two losses were to the National Champion, LSU, and Auburn by a grand total of 8 points. They'll probably have a better year next season (whenever that is), but things aren't so bad that they are in position to have a comeback in the same sense as Miami or Stanford.
