I tend to believe that there is no such thing as shit beer, cheap yes, but no shit. My beer of choice is Milwaukee's Bestwhich is a cheap beer. I also like Miller High Life and MGD. Coors Banquet is pretty good for a few but not a lot.

Coors Light, good lawnmower beer on a 100 degree day. I can drink like a case of those bitches on a good long day. I don't drink much cheap beer though. You can usually drink less micros as opposed to cheap 5%ers and get just as wrecked. The cost difference is really minimal when you do the math (depending on what you get---like a 7% IPA). Now if you like to shotgun or bong beers. Different story there.
