I use Lawry's seasoned Salt on EVERYTHING. It has to be Lawry's though. I have a ton of spices and use them often.

But Some basic salt and peppa when used right can be uber effective.....

Really basic i just made a ton of baked chicken for the week since i wont be able to cook much. I literalyl just cooked poured chicken broth over it, generously salt and peppa pound it in, baked, and pretty delicious

Only takes a little.

I can understand that sentiment, especially with certain oils, but good olive oil is good for you.

Ya gotta have a little of some sort of neutral adhesive for the salt and pepper.

And if you're feeling a little adventurous, add some minced garlic & a pinch of red pepper flakes. Awesome on broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, zucchini...you name it!

What I like to do is put my cleaned veggies in a dish or the pan I'm roasting on (covered with foil because I'm lazy like that) drizzle olive oil over the top (seriously like a teaspoon or so for 2-3 cups of veggies), salt, pepper, garlic & pepper flakes. Toss them with your hands until everything is coated then spread out on your roasting pan. Like Beardown said, you'll never look at them the same. Easy and super delish! Another layer of flavor for zucchini is to sprinkle some Parmesan cheese over the top & broil. Good stuff.

Extra virgin or just virgin is fine. Just a drizzle to coat and make yer spices adhere en sech.

Roastin veggies is thee best way to have em', IMHO, and a good way to get kids, er' wives er what have you, TRY them and actually LIKE them.
