He’s definitely too big of a fish for Baylor.

I'm not sure how successful he will be in the NFL. Usually college coaches need more NFL experience as an assistant than the one year he had.

He’s the kind I’d expect to be able to make a successful transition. He’s won at Temple and Baylor with x’s and o’s, not out recruiting the competition.

Exactly, he should stay where he is and continue moving Bailore towards the playoffs.

But honestly, they're going to have a more difficult season next year. He's losing a lot of seniors and they won't take anybody by surprise in the Big Xii. If he's ever going to make a move to the pros, this would be the time when the iron is hottest, as the saying goes.

Scuttlebutt (from my Baylor alum brother in law) a year ago was the Rhule was offered the Jets job but wouldn't take it unless he had 100% say so over assistants. Jets ownershipe wouldn't go that far so he said no thanks. Don't know how true it is but I've had other local Baylor supporters say they were afraid he was gone last year so it may be true.

Carolina for $60M. Good for him, he was way too good for Baylor.

I'm happiest for Texas. They will be able to beat Baylor again.
