i see no chance that it could be meadows.
if it was, they would have done the deal over the summer as the mets would have been nuts to pass on that. the reason it took so long was that it is a middling prospect, not one of our elite ones.
NH has been pretty adamant about keeping the top prospects unless a mind blowing deal comes along.
i like ike and he has surpassed expectations, but not in the mind blowing hole plugger category to warrant a top prospect. he is just a good platoon partner.
