Anyone ever heard of the Chrysler Turbine car? Would be impossible to own one (only 9 exist) but pretty cool idea

I'm very familiar with the Chrysler Turbine Car I remember building a model kit of it when I was a youngster and have read a number of awesome articles about it since.

Back in the day Chrysler loaned out almost all the prototypes to regulars schmoes like us who wrote in asking for the privilege. The turbine proved to be most impractical and the prototypes were reclaimed and almost all were destroyed because of P.R., insurance and liability issues.

Not too hard to see the Old Ford Thunderbird in that design, eh?
