They're going to want this one BADLY.

So, like usual, VT should show up with both their offense and defense.

I'm prepared for the usual. Someone will screw up on special teams (the only question is which team). Poor offensive production. We see a couple drives then grind it out and play field position. Defense gives one up early but tightens down and saves the day.

UNC is desperate. Those type games usually end up big one way or another, but I just can't see us pulling away or giving up big points. Like the annual GT game, I think this series returns to being down to the wire.

Aside from the Marshal OT game, the VT offense hasn't scored more than 2 offensive touchdowns in a game since like 2011. I don't necessarily see why that may change.

Did you mean 2012?

Because the offense did score a few touchdowns last year, even though they went 7-6 for the season. I understand your frustration with the offense, but let's not exaggerate it.

The Duke game last year (2012) was the last time we scored more than 2 offensive TDs against an AQ team

if you add "in regulation", yes. We scored 3 offensive TDs against BC, but one was in OT.

Besides the Duke game we also scored 3 offensive TDs in regulation against both UNC and Cincy last year (only considering AQs). If last year's UNC D couldn't stop us from scoring, I'm hoping this one's won't be able to either. They don't exactly look improved.

Exum will not dress tomorrow, his own choice, wants to give the knee more time

hope when his knee is 100%, his mind is too....coming off an injury like that, i'm sure it's going to mess with him to a degree

He made his quarterback seem like an idiot. Our offense wasn't so uptempo that he couldn't run over and grab a towel from someone on the sideline in between plays. It doesn't help that he has the weakest arm in the acc.

Too bad, I can't blame him though, returning from injury is probably one of the hardest things for an athlete to do.

especially considering he is a senior, who will be playing on sundays next year...I know he wants to be back, and we want him back...but he needs to make sure he is absolutely 100% before coming back

UNC can't tackle Logan Thomas...Actually, they can't tackle anyone.
