.....this defense and running game hasn't showed me anything in 3 weeks, nothing has given me reason to believe that it will be anything different in this contest. Until they prove me wrong, 49ers 24, Rams 13. It is what it is in Ram land and it isn't good.

Hope you're wrong.....

I say it will be a low scoring affair Rams 17 9er's 13

Or we make their banged up WR core look like all stars 9er's 27 - Rams 3

After what I saw in Dallas, I'm praying and hoping the way the RAMS played was a fluke and they get back on track

Both teams are not playing well... both teams are banged up (them more than us). All that equal a very lackluster primetime game... Legatron will be the star of the game 17-10 Rams

I knew the Rams would miss Steven Jackson... but I didn't think they would miss him THIS much. I like Richardson, but he has not proved yet that he could be an every down RB. They should have made a run for Trent Richardson - we have two 1st round picks next season, and they could have gotten a franchise RB.

I know it's early, but Tim Walton was a terrible choice to run our defense. Our coverage has been very weak, our defense hasn't been playing nasty or physical like they were last year.

Hopefully the Rams show up this week... The dome will be loud. The fans will be in it.

Just Win The Game Is All I Ask

Prime time game and again we are playing a team that should be better and is having a rough time so what better for the Niners is to play the number one "Cure All" NFL football team of the century, The Rams. How many times have we seen teams "Healed" after playing the Rams. Worked for the Cowboys. Man this is getting really old. I would really enjoy to see the Rams play, score, have a big lead so I can sit back and watch the game without spurting out all kinds of blabber non sense jibberish talk during the game.

The sad thing is that it's already a must win for the Rams and we're only in week 4. Unfortunately I'm not very optimistic about this week. I know the Niners have their issues right now and the Rams have caught them at a good time and the game IS at home but.....I have a bad feeling about this one. The Rams D has been very pourous and they can't run the ball. It could be a long night at the Dome. I hope I'm wrong.

Actually I think it is more a must win for the 49ers. The Rams are not in the discussion for post season and figured to be 1-3 after this week anyway versus all the weapons thrown at them with Fritzgerald, Jones and White, Bryant and Murray and now Kap and Gore. The Rams somehow and I agree off the foot of The Leg, get one 16-13.

I meant as far as stating in the playoff race is concerned. I think the Niners would have a better chance at coming back from 1-3 than the Rams. 16-13 on a game winning FG? Seems like we've seen that one before, LOL.

RAMS better come out like this is their season. After last week they better. Come out fired up like their hairs on fire. Look like they want it more. Look faster and hungrier and getting the crowd fired up. If they look like they're just going through the motions I'll be pissed.

I'm expecting the same old same old...down by 17 pts and then the offense will decide to run the no huddle hurry up type of offense. The rams will start to drive, Saffold (if he's playing) will get hurt holding another player and we will settle for a FG. San fran 31-rams 10. Please prove me wrong rams...would love to have some crow for dinner.

Save a helping for me if I'm wrong...I think the 9ers get just what they need to get going..The Rams...This team is playing poorly on both sides of the ball and I don't see anything that tells me this will be any better...I think the niners come to St, Louis pissed off and pummell the Rams...34-10...

49ers 10 Rams 20

This probably comes back to bite me in the ass but I don't see how the 49ers win this game. This is not the 49ers team from 2012. The 49ers receiving corps is weak when at full strength. Kyle Williams was #5 on the WR charts last year. This year he's #2 and he's struggling to be fit. Vernon Davis is also struggling to be ready leaving the 49ers with Anquan Boldin and unproven back-ups. The 49ers have injury concerns at LG, C, and RT. The Rams should be able to get to Kaepernick and cover the receivers. The 49ers rushing threat shouldn't be enough to hurt the Rams without a passing game.
Offensively the Rams struggle against speed rushers and have a weak rushing attack. The 49ers don't have Aldon Smith and they lack other speed rushers. The NT is injured and Justin Smith is not playing near his 2012 form. Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman are hurt, as are 2 of the 49ers best 3 CBs. This is a defense that's there to be taken, even if it wasn't traveling on a short week.
The Rams will be without Saffold and Hayes. Even if they are without Richardson, Long, Williams, Barksdale, and Givens, (all injury concerns but listed as probable after full participation in practice), they should be able to protect Bradford and pass the ball. This is a day to put Pead in the backfield and use a high completion percentage passing attack. Don't run the ball.
The Cowboys were a bad match-up for us. The 49ers are a good match-up. I'll be disappointed if we don't win this game.

For all the Bradford haters:

Sam Bradford's accuracy percentage when not pressured is 91.1% (best in the NFL). That's what happens when you give your franchise QB protection and time to throw the ball.
