If the 'skins do match-up Norman vs OBJ... I'd have to say the advantage is to the Giants.

Norman is very good at what he does... being a zone CB. He is not a great man-to-man, sticky cover guy.

Seems like an odd idea for the 'skins to change this up now. It doesn't play to Norman's strength... and furthermore: the Giants are more than just Odell this year. Victor Cruz is back, and rooking Sterling Shepard has looked solid. IOW's: the Giants don't need to force-feed OBJ.

It makes sense to put your best on the best but Giants have a lot more than just O'Dell. Without other defensive parts working, could be a really loooong brutal game for the Skins.

Our D has obvious limitations and Shepard and Cruz are no joke. Plus you've got Donnell to worry about too. You know how I've liked Shepard and thought he would really add impact this year. Cruz back at it is huge too.

Big thing about this Norman/O'Dell report is that it came from Keim and Brit. Keim isn't usually the type to report a source who doesn't want info out there. Everyone looking dumb from this IMO.

Why the need to say anything?

Redskins corner Josh Norman works during individual drills. Both Britt McHenry and I have been told he'll shadow Giants receiver Odell Beckham. However, what's said on Wednesday often changes by Sunday.

Misinformation has got to be a part of game planning at this point. Let the Giants try and game plan for something we might or might not do. Not that it matters a whole lot. I really hope IM wrong, but I expect the Giants to beat us, and Gallows to be erected at Dulles Airport in anticipation of the QB and DC's return.

I just hope they are kind enough to give Kirk and Joe blind folds, and pay out their contracts to the next of kin.

I love the reasoning... basically all negative towards the Redskins, but then predicts them to win regardless:

I hope Kirk Cousins is investing the $20 million he's getting from the Redskins this year, because based on the way he's played so far this season, there might not be much more coming after 2016. If we were to rank NFC East quarterbacks right now, Cousins probably wouldn't even be in the top-four, which is kind of embarrassing since there's only four teams in the division.

Things are so bad in Washington that I have to use pirate words to describe them, and this week's pirate word is mutiny. Apparently, there's a small mutiny brewing in the Redskins locker room.

The good news for Washington is that Cousins was actually decent against the Giants last season, throwing for over 300 yards in each game. Decent doesn't beat every team, but I feel like it's going to be enough to beat the Giants.

The pick: Redskins 30-27 over Giants.

The Giants have a chance to take a big-time hold over the Redskins in the division, almost burying them. Kirk Cousins has done some shaky things, and the Giants defense is playing really well. The Giants get after him and win it.

Not 100% clear yet... but most likely scenario is:

Nat Behre moves into the starting roll, alongside Collins. 3rd safety will be either 1.) Andrews Adams called up from the PS or 2.) veteran Leon Hall moving from CB to S.

Definitely impacts both depth and coverage. Behre is known to be better as a "thumper" than he is in coverage.
