These are two teams that had higher expectations then what the season has shown. Broncos are on more of an upswing and the Lions are finding ways to lose. Detroit has lost the last 7. The Broncos are favored so that will be new for them. Hope this is a bounce back game.

I will post the rankings after tonight's game.

I'm expecting a Bronco's win in this game -for some reason.

The last time the Broncos entered a game with the Lions with a 5-9 record Olandis Gary tore them a new one for 185 yards and a TD. What does this correlation mean? Well clearly it means the Broncos are going to destroy the Lions. Duh.

Science and all...

Lions are brutally bad and limping. This would be a terrible sign if we lost to them.

Oh, we're still playing? Rumor has it fans are given the opportunity to play as well. Just have to be seated behind the Lions bench and raise your hand. I'm hearing they're giving away IKEA gift cards for participants. Good Luck Broncos

Once again I want Lock to look amazing but we just barley lose to improve our draft stock. Getting a high end player in the draft to me is more important than falling 10 spots just to pick up some meaningless wins. If Lock looks great we don’t need wins to improve confidence.

I disagree. If we are going to restore the winning culture it usually starts at the end of a year. If we can win the last 2 we will have a record of 7-5 after the first 4 games. That is good building blocks for our young players.

I want to beat the Raiders because it’s the Raiders but I’m ok losing the Lions. And I don’t think we lose much confidence if Lock finishes the year 3-2 as a starter compared to 2-3. But that extra game might be the difference in us still getting a great draft pick and us having to trade up and waste an extra pick to get a great pick. If the difference between 6-10 and 7-9 is like 6 draft spots I don’t think it’s worth it.

The Broncos have good draft capital but they lack a winning culture right now. Better draft position isn’t going to help restore a winning culture. The only way to do that is by winning. Starting now tells this team they can win and pays a far greater dividend on the 2020 season than a few spots in the draft order.

If draft position mattered so much why haven’t the Browns been more successful? Why are teams like the Pats, Steelers and Seahawks so successful despite constantly picking in the bottom third of the draft?
