Can't help wondering how Junior Gallette would have helped those 3rd down figures.
I'm not excusing Barry, as I said I have no idea if he sucks or is OK. I'm just commenting on how things may be a bit different next year. I know despite the sack totals this team has a problem getting to the QB on a regular basis and that's huge on 3rd down obviously

They have had some success when they blitz - to include the last game - & then they just stop doing it. Why not try? How much worse can it get? What am I missing?
very little success with the blitz , look we need 4 new players on our front 7 and 2 new ones at safety , not counting depth
barry has developed TM , got us to compete with slow ass foster and compton , dunbar has done well by us cravens is developing nicely . smith and breeland are having down years as all players do and face it the safety position is a hot mess
we lack speed and strength on defense to consistently execute the defenses or calls that you guys want to run consistently
now sure barry isnt the best thing since sliced bread however more talent should be involved before we can him
what he had in detroit wasnt any good either
