Nats went HAM on STL tonight. Edwin dominated his former team. Even without Stras for the playoffs, Zimmermann, Gio and Edwin will be tough to beat.

Gio got his own complete game shutout tonight. Excellent start to an 11 game home stand and nice little run to respond to the 5 game losing streak. Here's to a great September!

If it wasnt for fucking Philly blowing a 4-run lead in the 9th to the Barves, it'd be 7.5. Still, a 6.5 game lead with 29 games left is solid. The Cubbies, and their 17-48 road record, come to DC next for a 4-game series. No excuses not to win at least 3 of 4. Go Nats!
