Seeing the lack of production from the Packers WR, my short answer would be, yes.

Jordy is an important cog in the machine - more important than anyone expected. Take the cog away and the machine malfunctions.

Going into the preseason, it was expected that Davante Adams would take a huge step up in production. Expectations intensified when Jordy got hurt, which negatively impacted Adams. Not only did he not take the next step, he actually seemingly crumbled under the pressure. This hurt the passing attack just as much as Jordy going down.

Overall, the Packers sputtering offense is a combination of an injured Jordy & Ty & the entire offensive line, mentally & emotionally-challenged Adams & Lacy, and a lack of confidence in Rodgers of the other three offensive position groups - with good reason.

Saying Jordy was the real MVP is false, but we have witnessed how bad things can snowball out of control when the deep ball and back-shoulder throws are scratched from the Packers offense.
