or do you still stand by this ignorant know-nothing of a manager? do you still believe he will 'learn' how to manage? do you care that he'll be guiding these young players for the next how many years and getting just about the worst out of them? how many games will he PERSONALLY lose for the team this season? i'm guessing around 10 or so.

or do you still only want to hear how great it all is? do you still want leave those rose-colored glasses on?
anyone else have the balls yet to admit ventura is a terrible manager who should be immediately let go?

It's hard to judge him just yet. To be fair, the White Sox don't have that great of a team.

Ventura is definitely not a good manager, probably among the lower half in MLB. But the baseball manager isn't that important, Dusty Baker isn't good with the Xs and Os either (he's learned a bit over the years) and he's won everywhere. Ozzie Guillen wasn't good and he managed a WS winner.

You're saying a good manager would take this same team and win 10 more games than RV?

The Sox have bigger fish to fry, for next year. I'm confident they will. JR does seem overly loyal to people though...but that's in our opinion. Maybe players like being part of an organization they know will treat them well.
