VAN vs NSH Game 2

That was an awesome defensive game and I really hope this one goes to 7 with copious OTs sprinkled in. I didn't get to see game 1, which sounded pretty bad, but the Preds came back in this one.

It was a good game tonight. Definitely a goalie and defensive battle. Both teams only with 2 goals each through 2 games..

Yea these games are extremely defensive and Rinnes been playing out of his mind with a dash of luck. I'm loving this series already

Sorry UTVol, that was a tough, tough call. And its not just because I have a man crush on Shea Weber.

Imo, you either call both or neither. Kesler was holding the stick big time.

Eh, it's alright. Just forces a must win game Thursday. Well not really...but I just don't see them team winning in Vancouver.

The announcers said it was a makeup call for the hit on Bieksa at the other end. But I don't think the hit on Bieksa should have been a penalty either.

Weber/Kesler was halfway up the sideboards skating away from the net. Does the ref really think Weber had a reason to be holding Kesler? I agree, weak call.

No kidding... major loser call. The "make up" excuse was ridiculous as well - that was a monstrous, but clean check.

It clearly impacted the decision of the game as well since VAN had barely sniffed the net all game and the isolated Shea's side of the ice during the power play. If the ref's felt they were not getting enough camera time then they should have just called minors on both players and let the game continue.

I hope NSH can snap back and tie of the series.. no reason they cannot unless the refs hose them again.
