The only 0-4 team to ever make the playoffs was the '92 chargers, so the Jags are basically done for this year.

But it sounds like there's something going on inside the culture of the team. And that's not a new thing for Urb, seems to happen everywhere he's been except Utah.

9-8 will probably win the AFC South but yeah, the Jags are 'done' for the year. There is a big difference between going 6-11 and 1-16, though in terms of team psyche.

The reality is that NFL players probably see Meyer himself as a rookie. Meyer needs to put in the work to get respect. If Meyer isnt putting in the work then he won't make it to week 8 let alone finish out the season.

They were given a once in a generation prospect in Trevor Lawrence and got him a HC that has never coached in the NFL. Who but the Jaguars?

At least they’ll have another high pick next draft to get more talent around Lawrence starting next year. Just need to get him a coach that actually knows how the NFL works.
