I've always enjoyed the Terry Tate ads - stuff is hilarious... but
The Outpost ad's final copy line "That's Good Stuff" has been part of our lexicon since we first saw the ad (SB 1998.)... but
Nothing I've seen during a 40-year career in national Marketing & Advertising compares to the Fleggaard effort- genius.

Since I absolutely do not watch commercials any longer, all mine were from last century.

As a kid, I always liked the Hamms beer commercials. I believe they ended up getting banned because they were CLEARLY targeting kids.

Commericials I actually look forward to seeing, and I can't believe I'm saying that, but they are so true to life (I also get a laugh out of Jardiance ads, but for different reasons...). This recent one made me laugh:

I actually have a grocery shopping bag full of grocery shopping bags hanging on a hook in my laundry room... there must be 25 of them stuffed in there atm. It's right next to the Amazon boxes we're apparently saving for .. who knows. Not my idea.. gf says we might need them someday.

So do I...but they are newspaper (that's right, newspaper) bags.

I use them when I walk the dogs. Quite handy.

The guy with the baseboard scraps hit me right where I live, though.

I use grocery bags for (wait for it…) groceries. I also use them for doing dog duty in the back yard. Granted, I have too many bags, but I have to pay $0.10 per bag at checkout if I don’t provide my own, so fuck that.

Amazon boxes are great for gift wrapping. I don’t keep all of them, but I do keep an assortment of the smaller ones.
