Ronnie Hillman closing camp strong, looks like he will survive the cuts and be our #3. Which is fine as long as the top two stay healthy.

Cowboys not going to sign Austin Davis for now. Wonder if they are holding off to see if we cut Sanchez since they want him to take a cap hit before trading for him.

Well the way I understand it is right now the Broncos are waiting until after the game tonight to finish a trade with either Dallas or Minnesota. They want to make sure that Lynch makes it through the game as the QB situation can turn real scary real quick if Lynch were to go down tonight. So look for a trade on Friday morning.

If the Broncos pull off a "profit" on Sanchez - JE should be the NFL exec of the decade.

Well at this point it really could be happening. Dallas cleared cap space yesterday looking like they are trying to make room for a QB and the Broncos have already been in talks with both teams and both have showed a lot of interest. So if we get those 2 into a bidding war somehow Elway could come out on top of this situation with more cap space and a better draft pick than what we spent. Crazy how the NFL goes of 2 weeks ago the Broncos might have had to pay to get rid of Sanchez and now looks like teams are going to be fighting over him.

It is perfect timing with trying to axe Sanchez contract with two teams scrambling for QB help as the season gets closer. Had these two teams not had the injuries Sanchez would surely have to be released oppose to traded.

So the Broncos lose 38-17 in the final preseason game. We can for now breathe a sigh of relief that we didn't lose any more players through camp and PS. Now the biggest story for the next two days is the cuts and possible trading of Sanchez. Both Dallas and Minnesota are good options for him. MN has a veteran stepping up and Sanchez (I think) has a better shot of getting some playing time there than in Dallas, where the Cowboys would be wise to just shift gears into the Prescott era. With that said, may the highest bidder win!
