I'm going to TC Sunday Full Pads and also to see my friend's son who just got a job with the Bronco's field crew.

Round 1 went to Team Paxton from what I've heard.

I have a feeling Lynch is going to be the better fit for this offense. Sounds like Siemian is trying too hard to "not lose" instead of playing to actually win the position.

The thing that has me excited is the fact that at least for day 1 the offense actually won a few of the battles. Last year a victory for the offense was not throwing an interception on a drive or going back 10 yards. This time victory truly was scoring touchdowns. It also seems like both QB's have a good handle on the offense which is why they ended practice an hour early yesterday because they got through everything they planned so quickly.

This isn't about the QB's but one of the other camp battles seems to be getting some separation early on. Sambrailo is really struggling even with the back up unit to stand out. On the opposite end of that is Bolles who has impressed the people watching.

I don't expect Ty Sammy to make the team this year. Chalk it up as a bad pick. He and Heuerman could both be gone, but Ill be surprised if Sammy makes it. They're both lucky they play the positions of our weakest area. I think even that won't save Ty Sammy and if Kreiger improves in year two and Heuerman doesn't then well... We know how it will go there.

Lynch today is presenting his X-Factor of his scrambling ability. Pump faked to get a defender to jump then took off 40 yards down the field for a TD. Also hit a huge 40-yard bomb between 2 defenders to Latimer.

Siemian today is trying to be more aggressive. Has been met with mixed results. Had a great 7-on-7 period hitting 2 straight 20-yard passes for big gains. Followed that up though by overthrowing a WR and having it picked by Roby in the end zone.

You may be right - but on one else besides Bolles and Sambrailo are getting significant reps at LT - at this stage is status would be swing tackle. Sambraillo is supposedly in his ultimate shape - I still have a smidgeon of hope for him. Barbre is perhaps an example of a late bloomer.

Until Butts' in - the TE is wide open. Heuerman has a great opportunity still, but his window and ceiling need work and fast. I really like Kreiger - always see myself in story's like his.

Siemian after the interception bounced back nicely ending practice with 2 straight touchdown passes in red zone work.

So who won today? I find this tally ppl in the media hilarious because it does not take into account play call or context or personal. Maybe Trevor went against the 1s and Paxton went against the 2s or vice versa. Big difference in talent level.

People at camp that I have talked to said that Paxton was the more consistent QB today. Siemian closed out practice better though and actually showed he was willing to push the ball down the field that he hadn't done earlier. You are right though hard for people to know the full context even beyond who they went against. How did they do at actually reading the defense? Did they do any audibling to put them in a better play? These are the things that media and fans don't get to see and know.

That's why you are our official forum representative going out to training camp and report back - what appears real and what is Bronco plop. I'm thinking that would line you up nicely for POTM.

This is the way I had it told to me. Lynch had the 2 biggest plays of the day...1 with his legs and the other with his arm splitting a double team 40 yards down the field. He also didn't turn the ball over but today was much closer than yesterday between the two as they both looked good. Which to me is saying something going against our defense.

I just posted to some links for tweets from reporters and Mason - in the other thread. What caught my eye was a lot more Broncos passing to the RBs - which the defense really needs to practice against and the offense really needs to get better at.

I think it will come down to actual games that will be the difference maker.
