I just canceled my cable.

Not joking.

The wife and I have went back and forth on doing just that but I can't pull the trigger. I's need muh sports but I know we'd get sooo much more shit done if we weren't sitting in front of the tv all the damn time. Not to mention the $ we'd save. I want to say our cable/internet package is like $170 mo.

We'd been talking about it and I didn't for the same exact reason - sports.

If they had SECN, I'd still be keeping it.

Mine was only $117 a month, but I only got like 1 package above the basic to get the sports stuff. When they didn't have the SECN last year, I figured well they'll have it soon. The same cable company has a deal with the SECN, but there are only 2 states they don't have it in their line up, and it's like Arizona and New Mexico. So I thought for sure it was on the way.

I'm pretty sure I can get dish or something like that and have no trouble getting it.

I'm watching the game tomorrow. I just got slingtv and it has the SECN.

And I got a 7 day free trial to check it out. It's going to be $25 for the basic package I get($20 for the basic and $5 for the sports package that includes the SECN), which actually includes more channels that I would watch on my cable package for even more.
