Todd Bowles is gone

Bowles will be the new HC for the Jets. He deserves the position, but for Cards fans, it's a big loss. Who should they get to replace him?

I've heard Dick LeBeau may be the guy. God I hope not. He's like 143 years old and the Steeler D hasn't been good in quite a while. Rather get Schwartz than LeBeau.

I am both happy for Bowles & sad that we have to find a new DC. He deserves to be a HC in the NFL.

I hope Lebeau will just be a an assistant DC & not the main guy if he is hired. Unlike Bowles, over the years, he never seemed to adapt his his defense to the guys he had on the team. I am hoping the new DC is either an in-house guy like Nick Rapone or if the Niners let him go, Vic Fangio.

Hopefully Bowles doesn't gut us by taking a few assistants with him.

Horton is holding the "I deserve to be the HC" grudge. It's the reason he left AZ & Cleveland. And his scheme is terrible against the run.

I don't know about Schwartz. What def does he run, a 4-3? Also, he comes off as an ass to me.

I think they will fill the position from inside and use Dick LeBeau to help mentor. Most of the outside possibilities like Schwartz or Fangio would bring in a completely new defense which will take a lot of time to mature..

Yeah, Schwartz ran a 4-3. He is a bit douchey, but he did an amazing job in Buffalo this year.
