Tight End

The Cards probably have the most balanced and talented team across the board in the NFL but I was talking to a friend and have the Cardinals ever had a good TE? I'm not even saying great, or even Pro Bowl. Weird that this franchise has NEVER had a good TE. True?

Yeah, from a receiving standpoint, the TE position has been a wasteland in Arizona. I think they had Jay Novacek back in the 1980s lol. Not much since then.

For this particular team though, I'm okay with them not having a great TE threat so long as they help block to keep Carson safe and open up holes for the run game. TE is a versatile position and to some extent, how you look depends on scheme. I think a guy like Gresham could have a pretty above average year receiving if he was more of a focal point, but he won't be on this team.
