How would you know? When they fall off you can't see anyway.. Don't you remember that time when you picked up the wrong glasses looking for yours?
Too bad you didn’t have kids, at least that you know of. You would have been great at making up bedtime stories!

Those are the glasses George uses when he is leading his secret life - his instructions have always been to disavow the glasses.

I think I have lived on SportsHoopla today minus a few hours to go get my physical activity of the day. Rained here today, watched the Cardinals lose in extra innings and hit refresh most of the day to see if anyone would still want to talk draft. :)

Anybody else think Jalen Brunson deserves to be in the MVP conversation ??

The Knicks are the true definition of a team, and team chemistry has carried them .. The polar opposite to the gutless Phoenix Suns

The Regular Season MVP argument ends with Jokic - again.

I can't argue with that .. but I think Brunson gets some well deserved votes
These are the first few games - I've ever gotten to concentrate on watching his skills.

I agree he will get some votes, but probably end up around 5th or 6th place. Unfortunately MVP votes seem to be a progressive climb. Some Nuggets fans, including me, thought Jokić should have had more votes sooner than he did. But with Brunson playing in NY, he will have a greater spotlight and probably climb pretty quickly.

I think the problem with MVP is there really isn’t a clear definition. I tend to put the emphasis on Valuable - of course I do because Jokić makes his teammates better. I would have a hard time saying he is the best player though. And then you get into arguments with people who want to look at advanced stats vs those who only want to use their eyeballs.

Fortunately for Nuggets fans, Jokic truly doesn’t care, so why should I? I loved it more that he won the championship MVP last year than I did the two years he won regular season MVP.

Agree but Brunson deserves some discussion as does Gilgeous-Alexander.
Shai for sure as I would put him 2nd in the MVP discussion and sure you can talk about Brunson but he doesn't belong in the top 4 conversation IMO. Knicks are a little over hyped beating up on a pretty weak Philly team with a little help in game 2 to boot. Lets get through round 1 before the hype train kicks into high gear.

Philly is not a weak team ... They've got Embiid back and Maxey has emerged as a bonafide star ... Embiid was the MVP favorite before the injury - he was averaging a point per minute .. and now that he's back, Philly is a team that could win some series in the playoffs ...

The Knicks lost their perennial all star Julius Randall months ago, played a huge portion of their season without starting C Mitchell Robinson, and played almost two months without starter OG Anunoby ... They had Precious Achiuwa playing 40+ minutes for a month during the winter stretch and 6'9" Jericho Sims starting at C when both Robinson and Hartenstein were out

And still finished 2nd behind Boston

Jalen Brunson basically played half the season without three starters, with about a month in there of Achiuwa and Sims starting ... and still finished 2nd

Just a crazy, probably stupid thought.

I’d cut DJ Jones and re-sign Simmons. The market seems to be pretty dry for him and having him back at a decent price to lead the D and improve the Safety room would make the team better.
