What is your take on him? Probably could have benefited a lot returning to college but seems to have a lot of upside. I was a big fan of his dad Samaki. Guessing he will spend most of this year in the G-League on a two way contract but a good flyer player.

Last year Portland's young players got a lot of PT because of all their injuries. Guys like Greg Brown and Trendon Watford took advantage of it.
I think if Walker had returned for another year at CU he would be a potential lottery pick. He has the hops and can block shots - he had hot and cold streaks from beyond the arc, but was a top scorer and rebounder in the Pax12. His passing game is woeful. Consistency has been a problem - sometimes zeroed in the first half and dominated in the 2nd. He can get into foul trouble quickly - needs to bulk up some for the pro game. Walkers advisors - including his dad - thought he would go late round 1 or early round two.

He is a good kid and very likeable not a prima donna. He can be developed into a very good player.

RIP Marlin Briscoe former Denver Bronco QB who became the 1st black starting QB in professional football. He would have done very well in a more modern RPO offense.

Pacman Jones
Not on my Gunsmoke reruns he isn't.
I don't get reruns. I think Rerun is as dead as Mr. Chester.

@LGM thinks the movie "Independence Day" was a documentary.

I like what the Nuggets did in bringing in a bunch of guys who can play on the wing - play defense - rebound and cut to the basket. With Joker - Porter and Murray - they don't need any more stars.

I hope Naji is ready to be the prime backup at Center.

I'm with you. the moves make a ton of sense. They might not be as talented at their best compared to what the Nuggets traded away, but they are more consistent and I think a better fit for the talent that is on the roster. I never understand teams that bring in guys that have to win off the dribble to a team that has a great distributor to get guys open for easy buckets.

The area I also think the Nuggets improved the most on with these moves is on the defensive side of the ball. Nuggets really depended on Jokic being MVP every single night on the offensive end of the court to win games. They struggled when the offense wasn't clicking to win even against bad teams.

Blazers have athletic ability out of the roof... But can their defense improve this year?
