Yea I agree Bored but I guarantee you that if a stock car has Michelins on it that car is not going to have the decrement that Goodyears ROUTINELY demonstrate race-in and race-out. NASCAR is the only series I have watched that has a high rate of tire blow-outs and loss of tire grip. Even F1 or the IRL does not have the blow-out rate that NASCAR does because the tires in NASCAR are complete krap!!

I'm no expert on which manufacturer's tires are better than another. I know quite a few dirt track fans who have the same take on Goodyears as you. It does seem that there are a lot of flats in NASCAR, but the cars are a lot heavier too. And we are told that a lot are cut by debris. Although if I built tires and they blew out, I'd probably blame it on debris too..
