Going to be pretty awful watching him play against the Devils tonight.

Also, very interesting to note that despite maintaining the company line about the Devils making a competitive offer (still wouldn't divulge numbers out of respect for Lou), Chere did get him to admit that JVBs financial debacle was a factor in his decision.

Finally, how did we play that terribly against Philly? Rebound tonight. Cory in net.

For those of you who weren't aware, This is the last known picture of Parise taken from New Jersey.

He is public enemy #2 to the Devils. If you happen to see him, please notify the authorities.

#2.

He's the runaway leader for me. Him leaving hurt way worse than Kovy or Gomez.

Yesterday's game looked like a team that hadn't played in 4 days. Hopefully they shook off the rust and come back strong tonight.

Volch out with lower body. Looks like that youth revolution on D is happening faster than expected. 3 of 6 in tonight.

May as well bring up Albany. It can't be much worse than the current team

Not Minny's prettiest game of the young season, but it was productive enough for the win.

See you guys again in March. Hope that the Devils get their ship righted soon. :)

We are going to struggle for at least 2-3 seasons.
No goals in 2 straight games. PDB - clock is ticking. . . . even though it mignt be not his faullt, but someone got to go and it is usually coach.

Anyone thinking we should call Lemaire out of retirement? He always was able to make nothing teams into something.

People won't like what I have to say, but after games like this weekend, I don't think its even worth it to fire the coach and hope somehow to make the playoffs as an 8 seed.

14 shots on Saturday against Philly.
Last night, good start, but it was a typical game that we have seen this season.
Do we really think we have a lineup that will do any damage in the playoffs? Nothing convinces me so far this season.

Think its in the best interest for this team to sell heavily close to the deadline.
Get as much as you can, which possibly might include some 1st round picks.

There aren't too many untouchables on this roster either. Time to sell.

I kind of agree RP. Team needs to shed a lot of dead weight and this year is the time to do it. FA class this year is supposed to be pretty decent. Best in a while. Might as well free up all the space we can, and be ready to buy come July 1. In a perfect world, Brodeur hangs em up, and Schneider takes over. I love Brodeur and he will always be my favorite player of all time, but these seasons of barely competing and playing half the games just doesn't sit well with me. He shouldn't be remembered for these last few seasons of so and so play.
