First week seemed to go ok. But here’s the camp injuries. I saw something about Kamu the other day but figured no big deal since I didn’t see much.

ACL....fuck.

Ostman looks like he might be the same fate (grabbing at your knee and being carted off ain’t good).

I decided to take more than a cursory “nah, not happening” look at Clowney. He is only 26. He’s been more healthy the last few years than I thought. He is a beast. And apparently Howie is doing what Howie does and burning up the phone lines.

Challenges I see are what money Clowney will want, and what the Texans would want in return. Would they want Nelly? Would that get us out of first round compensation?

I just don’t see Howie being willing to pony a 1. I think reality is that we will see someone less than Clowney brought in for the job. But, just in a vacuum....that would be a good player at DE!!

They're saying MCL and he'll be out 6-8 weeks. Could be worse.

Kamu was having a good camp but I think the depth is there to take this hit in the short term. LJ and Zach can play with Nigel and Gerry. Hopefully he comes back without needing a lot of time to get back into football shape ect...

I think they'll all be ready for game 1, except Kamu, perhaps by game 4. The offense may need to outscore teams.

I don't think Carson will play more than 2 series at most in the first game, and add to it in the 2nd and third. No starters play in the 4th game.
