I've got the exact same setup...use an Amazon Firestick. The only issue is there is about a 3 minute delay.

I'm watching the Yankees and Astros on FS1 since tOSU can't hold a channel slot. I'll mossey over to BTN at some point.

Yea i know that feeling, before i cut cable completely i was doing a 6 cable card network tuner and using that to watch tv via HDHomerun Primes it was good but i switched to PS Vue when they first came out and never looked back.

Samsung has annoyed me by not adopting android or roku into their tv's so they are limited in their app selection.
