Agreed! That was probably the best Alabama team of all-time talent-wise, and that is saying something. What matters is that Ohio State did all they could do and had a season to remember.

Yep, and I would have made a ton off of my National Championship Game tickets that I had for face value as an Orange Bowl ticket holder. Glad it didn't work out that way, as I enjoyed watching Alabama wax ND! Never know how it will turn out, as Ohio State could have taken the Bowl ban the year before and not played with a chip on their shoulder in 2012. In the end, it worked out great for the Buckeyes with a fabulous Championship run under Meyer ending with a B1G Championship and Rose Bowl win.

I also think not having anything to play for postseason wise helped them win tight games
