I'm watching, I just never saw the thread.

Hopefully Kyle Busch is ok.

Kyle Busch just hit the wall a ton. Looks like he could have a broken ankle or foot. They're wrapping it up and he's in obvious pain while they tend to it.

I hear ya. Yea, it looks like he could have broken a foot or an ankle or something down there.

What it looks like. Hopefully it's just a sprain, but I doubt it, no SAFER barrier on the inside wall.

Another friend of mine said he saw his nose bleeding too. I didn't see that myself though.

I never noticed that, but I've been on here since the first few replays, so I wasn't looking too closely.

Reckon I'm going to be a Ryan Reed fan from now on since we have some common ground.

Congrats Ryan Reed.

I've been quick to criticize Austin Dillon, but I have to give credit where it's due, I don't think many other drivers would have finished the race considering their positions for both big wrecks. He might be a bit spoiled, but he can damn sure avoid a wreck.

Nah, I don't think so either. I wonder how long he's going to be out though.

Depends on how bad the injury is. Brad Keselowski didn't miss a race when he broke his ankle, but he had an entire week to rest.

Can't wait to see how Nascar spins their reasoning for not having SAFER barriers installed everywhere, especially at their baby Daytona.

THey'll just say that it is rare that a car runs down and hits the inside wall head on and that most spin to the outside or hit the outside, but I bet they have the safer barrier there by July.

Fuck NASCAR. They are damn determined to get a driver killed by not having SAFER barriers on every wall at every track. If the wall is on the racing surface, it needs a barrier. It's that simple. It doesn't matter if its the outside wall, inside wall, or a wall 500 feet from the pavement. If he a car can hit it, it needs a soft wall. There is ZERO excuse for not having them. Daytona is undergoing a renovation that's budget is in the millions. So they can afford new luxury boxes, a museum, a mall, and restaurants in the grand stand, but not soft walls for the track? BULLSHIT. They lucked their ass off Busch wasn't killed.
