Very pleased with the draft. I like Randle quite a bit. And taking a flyer on Clarkson is a nice move as well

Looks like the Lakers got a couple of good one's. An argument could be (and was made earlier in the process) that Randle could have been in the top 3 picks, so getting him at #7 is very good. Clarkson was projected as #31 and the Lakers got him at 46.

Clarkson was rated much higher on the Lakers draft board than when they got him. I like his size and length for the guard position. He needs to improve his jumpshot and on-ball defense. If he does, he could be a solid player.


They signed DeAndre Keane to their summer league squad. Could be a undrafted steal.
