I just don't think they can fix things with their cap and lack of draft picks. And even then, swap Beal for KCP and another depth piece, is that a title team? Still no true leader/alpha, still not enough to come out of the West let alone win a title.

It doesn't have to be KCP specifically...just someone like him.

Would it make them better? I think so. KCP or someone like him would fit better.

Would it make them contenders to come out of the West? I doubt it.

It would just be something they could try if they want to give it another go with KD and Book.
