@fightinfunbags interesting note on springer
Yep. Wish the decision was closer to December 31st type of deal. At the same time, 4 million isn’t a lot. 4 million in a vacuum likely doesn’t do much to impact the cap situation next year. I thought in the G League and Summer League they weren’t using him as he would be used with the big club and they missed the chance to really evaluate how he hits as a 7th or 8th guy playing wing. They primarily used him as a ball in his hands all the time combo guard. He’s more than likely going to be a 3 and D guy for the Sixers this season if he has a role. I think Springer and BBall Paul are guys who could thrive with the change in coach.

Here’s a telling comment from BBall Paul. I have been screaming that they’ve been misusing him. He’s not a 5. He’s a switchable 4 that’s an energy player off the bench.

He’s the same size as maxey, so not much of a wing

Jimmy ranked 12th and Bam ranked 16th in the espn player rankings....sounds accurate enough as both are in the ballpark of where i would have them

Yes.

Recovering from knee surgery.

Hope he has a good recovery. Sometimes recovering from that surgery can be rough. I had knee surgery back in 2011.

He has to get the other one done also.

Think he just turned 71 recently.
