Somewhat interesting. Article about 5 players who could return to their original teams...

1. Paul George back to Indy, Clippers receive Myles Turner, TJ McConnell, Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin, 2027 1st round pick.

2. DeJounte Murray returns to Spurs. Hawks receive Jeremy Sochan, Malachi Branham, Devonte' Graham, 2025 1st round pick (via Hornets), 2026 1st round pick (Top 10 protected).

3. Kyle Kuzma returns to Lakers. Wizards receive Rui, Gabe Vincent, 2025 1st round pick.

4. Jerami Grant returns to Sixers. Blazers receive Paul Reed, Nicolas Batum, 2026 1st round pick.

5. Kevin Love returns to Minny. Wolves receive Love and 2026 2nd round pick (via Clippers). Heat receive Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
That's a lot for George.

Sixers can’t do that. Batum is a FA. In a sign and trade you couldn’t have multiple players aggregated.

May want to dismiss anything this article says cause whoever wrote it doesn’t understand the off season rules in the NBA.

Yeah, that's why I said somewhat interesting. I'd be surprised if any of them happen. Especially as written. But there is logical reason for teams at least wanting those guys back.

It’s a lot of spare parts

Betting big on math and now you can’t aggregate so having 2 firsts doesn’t mean much now

I don't think any of them are really fair value for both sides.

No thanks on the Kuzma trade. He won't want back anyway, doesn't want to be a 3rd/4th option.

See, I tend to lean that way on him as well. However, he did win a title as a #3 and his time as a #1/2 has been somewhat less successful. It would be interesting to at least hear what he'd have to say about it.

Yeah. Mathurin is going to be a stud.

Think the Clippers can get by without getting a 1st rounder back for him.
Love Turner.

He can't play with Zu.

So, not an ideal trade without him going out too.

That's what folks said about the CP3 to Rockets trade too.

Clippers could stand a youth infusion.

Maybe not that particular group of players.

But, I like the thought process.

So you would play extra to fly him 1000s of miles to drop him when cement shoes would do the trick? Just call up Pastafazul...
No, I would have hung him from William Penn's hat in the center of the city a long time ago.

I’m more jf you trade George you might as well trade Leonard

But the difference is now you can aggregate and make a new add with your new found assets

Sixers are pretty much out on trades now. The time to trade was this deadline. Now the Sixers will have a ton of FAs.

I would want him back if I'm the Lakers.

Problem is his mentality.

Dude 100% prefers being top dog of a shitshow.

He said he's already won his chip.

So, playing for a team like Dallas didn't appeal to him and he preferred to just stay with the WIZ.

They have single digit wins....lol
