Lakers strategy to give Allen and Royce open 3's all game was weird

It's Ham's dumbass defensive scheme that's he's played all year. He has them overhelping on the ball and to ward off cuts the paint but it willingly leaves people open for 3 point shots. It's a scheme that's like a decade old. You cannot leave almost any NBA player wide open from 3 in today's game. Even today's "bad shooters" can hit a wide open 3, that's how far shooting has progressed among players in the last 10 years. But its like this every game with him yet he never adjusts.

Suns also threw out some really big line ups today with KD, Nurk, and Bol all on the floor. What's Ham do? Plays as many guards as possible. Under 30 minutes for Rui despite all the numbers showing that D'lo/Reaves/Lebron/Rui (or Vando)/AD line ups cook and have cooked since this roster was put together last trade deadline. Yet its the line up Ham wants to play the least.

Had OKC been in Houston for tonight and Tuesday then that would be a series. This is just a normal home & home that's been in the NBA now for at least 30 years at least
