MM isnt going anywhere. The heat likely gets applied above him. While I am not happy about the defense playing terrible there is clearly a massive lack of talent and experience in the defensive backfield right now. I am happy that the offense showed some life but this is definitely a wasted season in a very winnable division.

It would be one thing if they made new mistakes, but making the same ones over and over is pathetic. I would've liked to have seen Capers gone a couple years ago, but my guess is nothing will happen, they'll just chalk it up to injuries at a tough spot to replace and move forward. The issues I have with that is they've spent a whole lot of early draft capital on the D, and the results aren't showing.

Whatever...it's kind of like watching the Packers of the late 70's and early 80's with Dickey...you know they suck, but were fun to watch...so maybe MM should take that into consideration.

As an aside, if you play FF, pick up whoever is playing QB vs the Packers if they're available and play them...also the 3rd WR if available...you'll like the results

4 of our 6 cb's are undrafted and people wonder why we're having issues in the defensive backfield. It all starts with TT and moves to our DC. Lack of talent and lack of good coaching will kill any group of players. Add that group to a pass rush that had just disappeared like a fart in the wind and it spells disaster. #1 pick next year needs to be a quality db or olb, no question

I think the last month gets Capers fired. TT takes some heat but returns unless he chooses to retire and MM is fine. While I dont necessarily agree with everything MM does but he can only do so much with the hand he is dealt.

In the grand scheme of things I guess I should bitch and moan too much. Since 93 they've missed the playoffs a total of 5 times and when you compare that to my early experience with this team, 70ish to 92, it's not really much of a comparison.

At this point I'm not going to worry so much about the score as I'll pay more attention to some of these younger guys and see if they have guys that improve, compete and can maybe make a career out of it. Mostly the CBs as I'm guessing they'll be looking for new ones come the draft.

Whatever, I guess it's time to change perspective a little bit.
