This is a really interesting matchup. The Texans have obviously been playing really well but the skins defense has been dominant at times. Vegas has the Texans favored by a field goal but I see this more as a toss-up.

I think it all depends on which Redskins defense shows up. If they are playing their A game they will win

I'll add a 6th to this list. Alex Smith will have his best game of the year, with numbers something like this... over 300 yards, 2 TD's with 70+ percent efficiency. Unfortunately, in a close loss.

If he does it against the Texans, that is doing something. Especially with a patchwork OL and WR corps. I just don't see it. I expect that Alex will spend a good portion of the game running for his life. Watt and Clowney are a formidable tandem.

Alex may get 300 yards, if we are down 20 … much like the Atlanta game. My take is Smith is going to get sacked 4-5 times this week.

The Redskins must beware of Houston's five-man front on pass downs, as illustrated on NFL Matchup this week. The Texans are excellent at creating free blitzers thanks to having their linebackers up on the line in a standup position. With a line that's new to one another, communication and recognition will be critical. Left guard Jonathan Cooper was excellent in both areas vs. Tampa Bay.
