Team Canada doesnt look very good, of course that roster had a huge turn over, and Olvier "I wanna be a Rapper"Roy is thier goalie is in net. I'm guessing bronze at best

It's not a new development with russia, thier hockey program has really gone into the shitter in the last 15 years or so, and its not getting any better.

Amazing considering how they invented things like 5 men units that require exceptional team work.

It also looked like they quit skating once they got a lead, and tried to lean on the goalie to get them through the rest of the way. ALA the sharks.

Coyle is having a huge night against the Slovaks. A goal and three assists. I'm not incredibly impressed with his skating but other than that I really like his game.

Not saying that Coyle will be anywhere close to as good as Couture.....but what you said above is exactly how I currently feel about Couture.

I think he's a good skater, but he's not smooth nor particularly fast. The best thing about his (Logan's) skating in my opinion is that he actually stops and starts and goes in straight lines. My biggest complaint about the head and shoulders BEST skater on the Sharks (Patty Marleau) is that he skates in loops, turns and circles. He doesn't start and stop with any regularity. I wouldn't ever classify Logan as a weak skater by any stretch of the imagination, but he's not a top notch skater in my book.

I dont know about that fruit booter, Logan has pretty good top end speed, excellent agility and a good first step. Not quite Patty speed or first step but not horrendously bad either.

I agree on the start and stopping, and Patty's roller hockey habits though

Coyle with a goal and an assist after two periods against Germany tonight. Curently he's team USA's leading scorer.

Coyle doing well against the bottom feeders, no points against Finland though who played the US tough. I'd like to see him get on the score sheet in games against the top teams like Sweden and Canada.

He was easily their best player against Finland. He didn't register a point but he had and created a ton of chances.

With canadas suspect goaltending, I think a blowout is going to happen tonight, atleast oilivier roy can pursue his rap career because he doesn't have one in hockey
