I think the only reason they took him in the trade was because the Rams needed to be rid of him to make the numbers work. I can't bring myself to believe he was a piece of the trde, I think we got more to not only give up Staff but to take on Goff. I can only believe that he's a complete stop gap and not even in the field of view looking at the future plans. But who knows. This is the Lions.
