It's game five for the Wild (1-1-2), & tonight it's another Central Division foe; the Dallas Stars (2-1-0).

... Scores at about the 10 minute mark. Since then, the Wild have had two short-handed break-aways that nearly ended in scores, & Pominville had a shot that rolled down Ellis' side & pads, but stopped dead just at the goal line.

1st period is over. Dallas looks completely out of sync so far. - Which doesn't exactly break my heart.

It took the refs a bit to call it, but it stands - though it may have actually been Neiderreiter who put it in.

Minny wins, 5-1.

That had to feel good: They lead from the 12 second mark, lead comfortably from the 10 minute mark on & basically dominated every aspect of the game.

Next up: Their 1st long (4 game) road trip, featuring their 1st back-to-back of the season.
