This team better end it today. And for christ sake score first and get the lead. We saw what happens when the Kings do that in game three.

I disagree.... If we can beat the Blackhawks after losing the series lead, we can beat anyone, anytime, under any circumstances. This team has shown it can do it all these playoffs.

But no sense in creating more stress. Sweep the leg and finish them:

I dont think we will blow this lead. but id rather not give the Rangers any life at all. if we play like we did in games 3 and 4, this should be a blow out. If its like games 1 and 2, im going to have a heart attack.

Well, of course we don't want the Rangers to get any life.... but not the end of the series if we do.

I think Game 3 was probably one of the most dominant ones the Kings have played all playoffs but just weren't able to win it.

They bring that effort tonight and NY is done. They were on their heels for about 2/3 of the game.

Have to disagree with this and agree with lasportzphan that this is not a "Must win". This would no doubt be a big loss, but LA is resilient and would have two more chances to close it out, including another game at Staples. Would there be pressure on LA? You better believe there would be, but they could do it still.

But you can't think or play like that and must come out with a "play to win" attitude. Kings didn't do a whole lot wrong in Game 4, and had their chances, so no reason to panic.

This is a great opportunity at home to get it done, and Kings hold a 3-1 series lead with only scoring the first goal in one of them.

Go Kings!

Puck, I believe you meant Game 4, but I know what you mean.

Well, good luck to the Kings. I'm leaving early to head south for the game and won't be back until Monday. I really hope the finals aren't still going by then.

Whoops, yes, I meant Game 4.

King Nothing can hope for puck luck, the Kings will focus on cramming that puck down his throat.

Puck, I'm with you 100%, I thought game 4 was their best game of the playoffs.

Hopefully the Kings put all of this Suck Fuck talk to sleep once and for all. Sorry, I meant Fuck Suck. Darn it, Luck Puck. Argh, my keyboard is whack today. Fuck Luck.

Which is why the NHL can go #$@! itself. I'm tired of the constant catering to the East Coast TV audience. Start the games at 6. I'm sure the sensitive New Yorkers can stay up an extra hour. Or is it time to take away the "City that never sleeps" moniker?

Yeah no doubt... this schedule revolves around NBC's best rating times and they could two shits about the actual sport or the teams.

It's not only the New York audience they're looking to appease to be fair to NBC. They want the entire East Coast audience. Many more hockey fans in the Eastern time zone than in the Pacific. No more loyal or emphatic just more of them to give NBC better ratings. Which is afterall what they are looking for. Without big ratings they can't sell ads. It isn't about appeasing hockey fans it's about money for them.
