That would be nice... but what are the odds it will be in the package I already pay for. I'm guessing the odds aren't favourable.

My provider, on the Sunshine Coast, picks and chooses what he includes to his best advantage. The tiers are different than in town. Will have to wait and see I guess. Their help desk doesn't know yet.

yeah, i was thinking it would be a replacement PPV option rather than another cable channel.

my provider, Coast Cable, is part of Eastlink. They are having ongoing discussions with Rogers, as of now they are not even sure they will be carrying SNOne, let alone knowing where it will be bundled and how it will be charged.

Sheesh.... lots of good things about living in a small community, but a few tough ones too....

yeah I saw that on their webpage.
all of their FAQ answers are basically "don't ask us, it's all up to your cable provider"

I do agree that they will be forced to have their shit together by Oct.
hopefully that means that the obligatory free preview (from Shaw or whoever) will cover some of the season.

Just trying to milk as much $$ as they can get for the service, I imagine. Can't really blame them I guess.
